PRECISE: Development of IT Teachers’ English Language Competencies

The main objective of the project is to produce an online course for IT teachers in English. Emphasis will be put on those vocation-specific language skills and competences without which they cannot meet the requirements of their profession.
Minimum language level for participation it the pilot course is A2 in the fields of listening and reading comprehension.
Besides this it is planned to be conducted an online course for e-tutors that will introduce to them the methods for self-evaluation, electronic portfolio, collaborative learning, e-tutor management, etc.
Target groups of the project are:
- IT teachers and trainers whose English skills are not sufficient for use in their professional life and are motivated to improve their language skills
- English teachers who wish to be involved in e-tutoring and teaching IT English with the help of an online, multimedia and interactive course
